Dinner at Chris' Taverna
It was our first visit to Chris' Taverna and it was a Sunday night. The place was quite busy but we were able to get seated right away. Moon had Lamb Shank with orzo(mini pasta in tomato sauce) and Greek fries, and I got Souvlaki(chunks of marinated pork) with string beans in tomato sauce and lemon herb potatoes. And, of course, we both tried Greek beer :-), it's called Mythos. The service was excellent and the food was tasty :-P We were very happy to find this place through the reviews posted on Yelp website.

Moon's BBQ Ribs
We bought a slab of ribs when we went grocery shopping a few days ago. It was my first time making BBQ ribs, but of course I wasn't going to follow all the other BBQ ribs recipes out there (I never follow any recipe so closely). So, I marinated the ribs in my secret home-made sauce (Asian style) for two days. Since I am short on free time these days, I decided to use the oven to cook my first-time-ever BBQ ribs. I threw the ribs in the oven preheated at 400 degrees fahrenheit. I let it cook for an hour. After that I took it out of the oven, and brushed the meat with more of Moon BBQ sauce. I put it back in the oven for 20 more minutes. When it was done, it looked very juicy and yummy! We finished our lunch in no time!

떡국 (Rice Cake Soup)
This particular dish is the New Year's food in Korea. Of course, there are many different variations of this dish. However, the one I cooked today has rice cake, of course, eggs, and roasted seaweed sprinkled over the soup, garnished with scallions. We eat this soup with Kimchi. Often times people prefer to have dumplings in their soup.
